Words to Ponder
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”

Retirement homes have unique needs when it comes to grief and loss, affecting both residents and staff in meaningful ways. I offer tailored programs designed to meet these needs with compassion and professionalism. Services include educational talks for residents and staff, specialized training for management and care teams, support circles that foster connection and healing, and more.

Helping Seniors Through Loss
The Helping Seniors Through Loss workshop is not intended for seniors themselves, but is designed to equip families and retirement home staff with the tools and understanding needed to support seniors as they face the vast changes in their lives. This workshop teaches caregivers to assist in addressing the complexities of grief and loss in later life.
Art and Nature Sessions
In these group sessions, we explore grief through creative expression and connection with nature—spaces where words aren't always necessary. Sometimes, emotions run deeper than language can reach, and art or time outdoors offers a powerful way to process what we're feeling. Through gentle guidance and shared experience, participants find new ways to express, release, and connect—with themselves, others, and the natural world around them.
